Strong Alaska winter winds persist

Last night the wind was rattling the windows in my new apartment so loud that I decided to sleep in the hallway, which is as far away as I can get from the windows. Tonight I tried the same thing, but it's now one o'clock in the morning, and I can't sleep because of the racket. In fact, I just decided to make a recording of all the noise, and I'll post that audio recording out here as soon as I figure out how to get it from that device into a format I can share here.

In the meantime, hold onto something sturdy, or risk the chance of flying away.
